It's absolutely amazing to watch them grow and develop. The way they interact is like nothing I've ever seen before. They seem to know what the other wants and most of the time they're just so, so sweet to each other.
DC is my little jokester; a total ham. But she's also very sweet when she wants to be. She lies on the floor with her brother and brings him toys. She constantly shares her meal with her sister (who's usually begging DC for her meal). She likes hugs and loves to tickle. Recently, she's even taken on the role of potty training her beloved Penguin, Pengy.
She gets crazy-hyper when she's over tired and runs around like a maniac. She loves, loves, loves to be chased. She loves to say "shoes?" and pull them out to have us put them on her. She likes to put her toys away and wipe up "messes."
She was once our mouth-breathing baby who you could hear a mile away and now she routinely sneaks up on us.
And then there's sweet little Scooter. My little alarm clock. She's turned into such a maternal little creature. She puts her babies in the high chairs (there's one in a high chair right now). She's the first to comfort a sibling if they're crying. She's obsessed with buckles and buttons. She's curious. She loves figuring out how things work. She loves books and although she's always held them the right way as she flipped through the pages (genius in training, I tell you!) she's now begun to actually "read," which is just adorable. She also makes s super silly face for the camera during every photo shoot (see bottom left!).
She loves hugs and getting tucked in (numerous times) at night. She loves to help. She adds "y" to all sorts of words now ("booky," "footy"). She says "footy" when she climbs down the stairs. She loves to giggle and run around in circles and is infatuated with Mickey Mouse. Whenever we are, she spots a Mickey (they're everywhere, by the way).
My sweet baby girls. My, how you have grown.
